sick....and tired

i took J to the doc yesterday for chest congestion/wheezing/general yuckiness. the good news is it's only a sinus infection and we're on meds to get it cleared up before the big PARTY. the downer is it makes him very sleepy, obviously....




He NEVER ever does this. on the go, all the time, except for 2 naps/day and at night. today he's just been lounging all day. it makes me laugh. he'll be exploring then just lay down. i thought these pics were funny.

anyway, please pray he'll be feeling much better by saturday. i think once the antibiotics get into his system he'll be much better. today has been such a nice break, though!!!

update on weight, etc: i was way interested to see what the big guy weighed when we went in, because we went 4 months without a single visit to the doc!! he was 26 lbs 6 oz, or 92%. she was so impressed with his strength. he wasnt gonna let her look in his ears without a fight. anyway, we will go back in a week for his "official" 12 mo checkup..but just thought i'd update on his size. he's enormous.
