Mardi Gras Hammond Style
here's a couple shots we took at yesterdays parade (pre and post to show how many beads a pregnant woman can aquire!). We actually had 2 huge bags in addition to these but they were getting heavy so i took them off. We also got tons of candy, plastic cups, etc. Fun time! We went with Jason, a guy from our church and sat on the back of Asah's truck. I had the set-up with a chair and blanket...it was nice.
notice the swollen face! this is at the end of the day so i was nice and swollen looking.

Tara, you are so beautiful! I'm glad you got to take in a parade. Just think how many beads you'll get next year with Jordan on Asah's shoulders. Seriously, kids score the most beads. Hey, do you think you could rent Jordan out next year? I'd pay an hourly fee for the goodies that come to a cute kid.
Now, how can I follow that hilarious post? Liz, that was good! You're soooo good at funny little one-line jokes. I love that! Tara, you do look beautiful!!!! And look at Jordan! With every pic you post, I can see him growing! Well, I mean...Asah is his daddy and all, and nobody's foolish enough to mess with such a man like Asah(tall man!) Jordan is going to be like his daddy! I can't wait to see AND MEET him!!!
For real, we tried to rent out little Kassidy Wrye last year, but Denise said that it was too cold to get her out. They always get the best throws. Bummer! Well, if you do rent him out to Liz, make sure that he has some body armor just to make sure that's he's rightly protected from the throws.
