RAD is not so rad.

10pm last night. jordan wakes up pulling for air and having trouble breathing. we load up very quickly and head to the ER. checked his blood oxygen levels and gave a breathing treatment and prednisone (steroid). released around 1:30 am. went to pediatrician today for followup and he was diagnosed with RAD. Reactive airway disease. similar to asthma, but cannot diagnose asthma this young so this is what we have. yuck. breathing treatments every 6 hours for 4 days until his wheezing dies down. not fun times in the hudgins household!
please say a prayer for the little guy. he's taking it like a champ but sure scared mommy and daddy last night. we are praying he gets good sleep tonight.
we need sleep too!
