when it rains it pours....

our yard after a torrential downpour last night. i was supposed to be hosting our playgroup today for a "pool party" with all our baby pools. our yard is a LAGOON!
bummer. we REALLY need to get those holes filled. actually, it's the parishes responsibility to fix the drainage problem in our neighborhood, but 49 phone calls later, i still haven't seen em. hmmmmm. any ideas for how to fix this?
