update

i haven't written in FORever. sorry. we've been on the road to GA and back, and then i had to play catch up here at work. the trip home was nice! Trent looked great, just a little skinny. it was good to see him and everyone else though. we drove the new car and it was awesome. definitely a blessing that our house sold and we were able to get a car.
i have a final tonight (for the seminary wives class) then i have a break until the last week of this month when the next class starts. i'm excited about it because it's Counseling for the Minister's Wife. this is something that i think will be helpful in ministry.
that's about it from here.
Answered prayer:
house sold!
transportation!
Trent's home!
Asah has a job!
my job's going great!
it's amazing to see all that God has done in a couple months. He sure does take care of us!
Have a really good week!

Cold and Rainy

It's a blah day. Cold and rainy and yucky. BUT, tonight is Campus Revival and Voddie Baucham is here! Asah and I have heard him every day this week in chapel. He has been preaching some dynamic sermons from the book of II Timothy. I am really enjoying it! Asah is working tonight so he won't be able to come to the service, but I'll be meeting up with some friends to go. This weekend should be good. Saturday we are heading to our pastors home in La Place, LA for a fellowship. Then, Saturday night I'm helping serve dinner to the ladies at Friendship House. Friendship House is one of the centers I work with at New Orleans Baptist Ministries. By the way, though not fully developed, our website is up for NOBM. Check it out @ www.neworleansbaptistministries.org.
Well, that's about all. We should be closing on our house next Wednesday morning (the 9th) if all goes well. We are excited about God providing for us by selling the house. We are also excited about a new car! Hopefully in time for the trip to Tifton, GA on March 11 for Trent's "welcome home from Iraq" party. We'll keep ya posted.
Much love from a very rainy city!
