One Night in Bethlehem, The Jeep, and a sick Boy

i decided to combine these posts because we are scrambling to get ready for our trek to GA.

we went to "One Night In Bethlehem" with several friends and despite the COLD air that moved in it was great fun. It was really well done, we got on a "train ride" and went through the different scenes the night of Jesus' birth. They did a great job portraying the real meaning of Christmas. Probably wasnt the greatest idea to take Jordan out in it, because the next day he woke up sicker than sick....but I thought because he'd started his antibiotic he may be okay. Bummer. He has managed to play in his new Jeep a bit and actually started to get the hang of "driving" it. And the last pics show just how bad he feels. For anyone that knows J, he is NEVER still. these just break my heart cause I know he feels like dirt.

i just have to comment on this pic. Krista turned around trying to catch a shot of us but Jordan was wiggling to get out of Asah's arms and it was dark so she couldnt really see what she was getting. Instead there are Jake and Abe right in the middle. It was pretty funny.

it's a Hudgins family Christmas

you cannot tell from the pictures, but we were all happily opening gifts this morning.

Jordan is sick, and I am too...and Asah just looked confused. the pictures make me laugh.

Jordan woke up two nights ago at 2 am saying "Hot, Hot". he had a fever and we went to the doc yesterday. His asthma is acting up BAD (like this is the worst I've seen it) and he also has some sort of sinus infection. I am getting the same sinus infection....yesterday Jordan was coughing so hard he threw up in the car while out with Asah. We cant find anything to relieve/stop the cough. Its no fun.

BUT This morning was a new morning and we were determined to have a fun christmas.

i got a new digital camera!!! my old one is officially dead from one too many dealings with Jordan. I also got some great new kitchen gadgets in my stocking. Asah got Timberland boots, a new pullover shirt, and an Itunes gift card.

you'll see J's big gift in the video.

pray for us! we are traveling in a few days and would love to be rid of the crud.

finally got the internet back!

wow, sorry for the hiatus.
we are trying to save a few $$ and switched to bellsouth internet, but they had to MAIL US our kit then asah had to set it all up. all that plus we've had approximately 7 christmas parties to prepare for and attend, so we've been Busy little Christmas elves around the Hudgins home.
We are enjoying this holiday season...and keeping in mind what it's Truly about.
Looking forward to being with family soon!
until then, here's what Jordans been up to:

when asah leaves early on sunday mornings and i'm trying to get ready, sometimes J is entertained by the contents of my drawer in the bathroom. here he demonstrates how to use a powder brush to comb your hair.

got into all the mardi gras beads.

thanks gram for my boots! however, my fat little calf is hard to squeeze into these! i love to put them on though!

pre-Christmas parade pics. You will not be seeing any pics of the actual event because Jordan cried the entire parade. He did not like the loud fire trucks, police cars, and floats. he stayed in his carseat (inside Asahs truck) most of the time. we'll try for another parade next year. Looks like no mardi gras for us this year either!!!!! but, we did have a great time of fellowship/picnicking before the parade--
