2007 April Angels Meetup!!!!

This past weekend Jordan and I had the pleasure of attending the 1st ever April Angels Meetup in Columbus, OH. Let me explain: Back in July of 2005 when we found out we were expecting Jordan, I began "chatting" with a group of first time mom's to be on the internet (www.babycenter.com). We formed a wonderful bond from going through all of the pregancy symptoms, labor and delivery, etc. We have literally raised our children together via this online community. We began planning a meetup several months back. And this past weekend we finally met...It felt like I knew everyone and their toddler already! (And I do!) From a pool party and cookout, a trip to the zoo and park, swimming in the country club pool, we had a fun filled and very busy weekend. Jordan LOVED being around all the other little ones. He is the biggest of the bunch. The smallest weighs 12 lbs less than he does!! I found out that Jordan is also a bit of a bully! Oh no!

Enjoy the pictures. We had the best time. Jordan did very well on the flights. He also came home with a virus that he picked up from someone there (about 5 or 6 of the other kids also have it!)

jordan learned to say "amen" this week after listening to his precious moments doll. i love when he takes his paci out to say it. this just makes me melt!
he is getting to be such a big boy!

so big...

i hear that jordan is "so big" wherever i go with him when people realize that he's only a 15 month old. i guess today his sheer size was proven.

the doctor and nurse were pretty amazed. he has the appearance of a 2-3 year old little boy. but the doc said he is just gonna be big, strong, and healthy.

right now the poor guy is sleeping off some shots. he did good though.

here are a couple pics of him swimming at papa and memas house. i have some from the lake and some from grams that i need to upload and post later. but while he naps i need some "mommy time"!!!!

the past couple days jordan has picked up some new words. seems like he's repeating us and learning new things DAILY. yesterday he said "nana" for banana at breakfast and "cheese" several times today. he REALLY likes cheese (just like mama!!) he also can sign "more" for more food. here are some pics from the past week or so.

there will be a shortage of posts for a week or so....J and I are flying to GA tomorrow!!!!!
